Work as little as 2 shifts per week! Discounted membership available for all part-time employees! Must have weekend availability The City of Worthington Department of Parks and Recreation is hiring for part-time customer service staff to work at our front desk at the Worthington Community Center and/or Griswold Center. This position is responsible for all front-line communication with patrons, including greeting customers, answering phones, processing registrations, membership applications and facility rentals, and other duties as assigned. This position requires high proficiency with using computers, the ability to take directions from multiple supervisors, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Applicants should have strong customer service skills and be able to work with a team. Some weekend and evening shifts required. Current CPR/First Aid certification preferred, but can be provided by WPRD to any staff needing new or updated certification. The City of Worthington is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
