Job Summary:

$15.50 to $16.50 per hour

Part-Time Clerk:

Permanent Position 29 hours per week or less on average Paid Sick Leave 401K Retirement Package with up to 4% employer match Premium Pay increase of .50¢/hour for all eligible employees working any hours on Saturday-Sunday, and weekdays before 6 am, or after 7 pm.

Full-Time Clerk:

Permanent Position 40 hours per week on average Health, dental, vision, life, and AD& D insurance 401(k) Retirement Package with up to 4% employer match Paid Vacation and Personal Time Off Training and Scholarships up to $1,000 per term Premium Pay increase of .50¢/hour for all eligible employees working any hours on Saturday-Sunday, and weekdays before 6 am, or after 7 pm Operate a check stand, bag and carry out groceries, bottle room service, assure the front end is continuously moving customers through, and keep the front end and parking lot clean and clear of grocery carts. Work product from the stockroom onto the sales floor: fill shelves, end-bases, and aisle stacks. Return any unused products to the stockroom in an orderly way to reduce shrink and aid in the ordering process.

Essential Job Functions:

Check stand transactions include ringing up, properly bagging, totaling, and receiving payment. Transport bagged groceries to customers' vehicles Customer Service calls to

Bottle Room:

counting cans & bottles, emptying & cleaning bottles machines. Answer customers' questions about merchandise and advise customers on merchandise selection. Pack and unpack various items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms or the sales floor. Stock shelves, racks, cases, bins, and/or tables with new or transferred merchandise. Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, supply rooms, or other areas. Mark stock items using identification tags and order tags as needed. Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure complete compliance with safety regulations. Clean and face display cases, shelves, aisles, and end-bases Keep accurate records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment. Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects. Report all damage to the supervisor.
