Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs, including product demonstrations when applicable Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for cash, credit, or digital payments while handling cash with precision and integrity Manage customer transactions efficiently, ensuring quick checkouts and minimal wait times Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented Upsell products and promote store promotions to enhance sales opportunities Provide excellent phone etiquette when responding to customer inquiries or follow-up calls Assist in inventory management through stock replenishment and basic merchandising tasks Support the team with product knowledge sharing and customer education in a friendly manner Skills Proven experience with POS systems and cash handling procedures Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities for diverse customer interactions Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities in a retail environment Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions and inventory counts Knowledge of grocery store operations or familiarity with retail sales environments preferred Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and patience Basic math skills for balancing registers and managing transactions effectively Ability to perform merchandising, stocking, and product demos confidently Professional phone etiquette for engaging with customers over the phone or in person Join us if you're passionate about delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced retail setting!
