Job Description

Quoting Specialist Job Description Summary:
Serve as a Liaison between the customer and various internal departments. Support Customer Service relationships with customers on behalf of the company by taking responsibility for each customer contact and by ensuring that all customer requirements are completely met. Typically handles transactions between $400 and $10,000, focusing on traditional form orders that require proofing, organization, and multi-tasking.
Primary responsibilities:
  • Ensure customer needs are met via timely communication with customers
  • Quote and/or enter orders into the company computer system
  • Proofreading
  • Support CSRs in resolving product or service problems
  • Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions
  • Refer key service issues or opportunities to the appropriate internal department
  • Backup for phones
  • Cross-trained on CSR function and/or sales support
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Previous experience preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
  • Mathematically inclined
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Ability to work in a team setting
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities based on customer needs and department workflow
Schedule:
  • Full Time with benefits
