Job Qualifications:

• High School diploma required
• Minimum of one year call center or phone customer service experience required.
• Solid pc and data entry skills. Must possess adequate degree of speed and accuracy.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
• Good organizational skills.
• Ability to accurately figure basic arithmetic problems, fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compose letters, memos and general correspondence.

Job Responsibilities:

• Take all first quality orders, cut-orders, and piece goods in a friendly, accurate, and courteous manner.
• Enter verbal and written orders on a personal computer.
• Solve store problems concerning lost, damaged or inaccurate shipments.
• Communicate with the stores on the telephone all information regarding fabric, deliveries, and order status.
• Work together with the warehouse to expedite all orders by assisting in matching dye lots, obtaining cut lengths, and solving any special problems concerning a first quality or cut-order request.
• Work proficiently on the fabric computer system, specifically order entry, backorders, billing confirmation, credits, inventory adjustments, the printer, and the running of month end closings.
• Follow all approved office procedures in filling out damage reports, call tags, UPS trace forms, request sheets, and purchase orders.
• Notify the store immediately when there is a backorder status or any problem in shipping or cutting an order.
• Work with the customer service staff and Merchandising to ensure a high degree of customer satisfaction and good will.
• Process paperwork involving cut-order and piece good orders, such as filing, matching the invoices to the packing slips, and matching invoices to summaries.
