Position Summary As a Customer Service Representative, you will serve as the first point of contact for customers requesting underground utility locates before excavation or demolition projects begin. You will gather detailed information, enter accurate data into computer systems, review mapping information, and provide exceptional customer support. This role involves handling a high volume of inbound calls while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and adherence to quality standards. Starting pay rate is $20.88/hr Key Responsibilities

Answer inbound customer calls in a professional and courteous manner

Gather and verify detailed information regarding excavation projects

Accurately enter information into company software systems

Utilize electronic maps and mapping tools to identify work locations

Educate callers on safe digging requirements and procedures

Process updates, re-notifications, cancellations, and emergency requests

Handle difficult or frustrated callers professionally and effectively

Place outbound calls when necessary to relay emergency information

Maintain detailed records and documentation

Meet quality, productivity, attendance, and schedule adherence expectations

Assist users with online account navigation and ticket submissions when needed

Schedule This is a full time in office role with 24/7 operation with rotating days

6:30 AM

    2:30 PM

    10:30 PM
  • 7:00
AM Please Note:

Employees do not have the same two days off each week.

Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

Previous call center or high-volume customer service experience

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations

Strong active listening and problem-solving abilities

Experience working with multiple computer systems simultaneously

Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy

Reliable attendance and strong schedule flexibility

Typing speed of 40+ WPM

Education

High School Diploma or GED required
