Parts Clerk - Customer Service Representative

Overview:

Bachmann Industries is a small model train company seeking a permanent, full-time Parts Clerk. This position requires the applicant to be computer proficient. Experience or familiarity with model trains is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate who is eager to learn. Full-time in-office requirement. We provide excellent benefits.

Essential Functions and Duties:

Answer customer calls and emails in a timely and professional manner. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with inquiries and placing orders via telephone and online with a positive, patient and friendly manner. Pick, pack, and ship customer orders daily. Organize parts items for the department (i.e., sort, label, stock, etc.) Assist with maintaining the parts section of our website. This includes photographing various parts, basic editing, and uploading images to the website. Perform other job-related duties and special projects as needed.

Requirements:

Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
