Automotive Service Advisor Sharon / Hermitage, PA Area Full-Time | Automotive Dealership Service Department A well-established automotive dealership in the Sharon / Hermitage, Pennsylvania area is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Advisor to join our busy service department. We are looking for a motivated, customer-focused automotive professional who understands how to build relationships, communicate effectively with customers and technicians, and help drive the success of a dealership service department. If you have experience as an Automotive Service Advisor, Service Writer, Automotive Service Consultant, Assistant Service Manager, or dealership service professional , we want to hear from you. What You'll Do As an Automotive Service Advisor, you will serve as the primary point of contact between our customers and automotive technicians.
Responsibilities include:
Greet customers and determine their vehicle maintenance and repair needs Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle symptoms Create, update, and manage automotive repair orders Provide estimates for recommended maintenance and repairs Explain repair recommendations clearly and professionally Obtain customer authorization for repairs and additional services Communicate with automotive technicians regarding diagnosis and repair progress Keep customers informed of vehicle status, costs, and estimated completion times Recommend manufacturer-scheduled maintenance and preventative services Schedule service appointments and customer follow-ups Review completed repair orders for accuracy Assist customers with warranty and service-related questions Maintain accurate customer and vehicle service records Build long-term customer relationships and encourage repeat business Help achieve customer satisfaction and service department performance goals What We're Looking For Previous Automotive Service Advisor or Service Writer experience preferred Automotive dealership experience strongly preferred Knowledge of automotive repair and vehicle maintenance Excellent customer service and communication skills Strong sales and relationship-building abilities Ability to confidently present and explain recommended repairs Strong organizational and multitasking skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dealership environment Experience with dealership management systems and automotive service software is a plus Professional, dependable, and team-oriented Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Candidates with experience as a Service Advisor, Service Writer, Automotive Service Consultant, Assistant Service Manager, Parts Advisor, Automotive Technician, or other dealership fixed operations professional are encouraged to apply.
