E-Commerce Customer Service

Summary:

The E-Commerce Customer Service Representative is responsible for engaging with customers on behalf of the company by answering questions, communicating product knowledge, and facilitating interactions with potential and existing clients. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Interacts with customers by phone, email, website live chat, or fax and receives orders for products or changes in service Collects and enters orders for new or additional products or services Fields customer questions and complaints; when the issue is beyond the representatives knowledge, forwards to the assigned specialist or other appropriate staff Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers problems and concerns Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments Follows all safety procedural guidelines
