Candidate must have: A good amount of knowledge of car parts, location of parts and how the major components function on a vehicle. Areas of a lack of knowledge such as tires, you will be expected to do training mostly on your own time to gain knowledge to help better educate our customers on services we provide and the benefits of the products we sell. Along with seeing how our technicians repair and service all types of vehicles both new and old. Good phone skills to discuss concerns with customers and schedule appointments. Keep in touch with customers on longer than normal repairs so they understand how long it will take or when parts come in. Good typing and computer skills to create work orders, look up and order parts on line. We use digital inspections to help show customers with picture and video on what's wrong with their vehicle. Finalize invoices and contact customer by phone or text to let them know the vehicle is ready for pick up. Discuss services done on customers vehicle and go over repairs/services needed soon or at the next service visit. Accept payments for repairs and services. Looking and acting in a professional manner since you will most likely be the main person to meet and greet customers when they pick up and drop off vehicles. A valid Pa. drivers license Able to lift 50 pounds (if needed) tires and car parts. If not I'm sure we can work around that. You will be working directly with the service writer to provide good communication to the technicians and great customer service to the customers.
