ANSWERING SERVICE/CALL CENTER OPERATOR
Are you a people person with a passion for helping others? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two calls are the same? We're looking for a friendly, empathetic, and motivated Answering Service Representative to become an essential part of our team! As the voice of our company—and a trusted representative for our clients—you'll play a key role in creating outstanding experiences with every call. From routine message-taking to urgent situations requiring immediate action, your professionalism and compassion will make all the difference. If you're ready to bring a smile to someone's day (all from behind a headset!), this is the opportunity for you. •This is an in person position - Not remote and we are looking to hire for various shifts
What You'll Do:
Answer incoming calls with professionalism, clarity, and a positive attitude Accurately take and relay messages using detailed client instructions Seamlessly transfer callers to the correct person or department Resolve inquiries with empathy and efficiency Stay informed on our clients' services to provide accurate information Maintain clear, organized, and accurate records of all interactions Collaborate with teammates and leadership to enhance the caller experience Handle and dispatch emergency calls, including burglary, fire, and critical alarm alerts, promptly and professionally
What We're Looking For:
Previous customer service or call center experience (a plus!) Strong communication skills and polished phone etiquette Excellent listening skills and a naturally empathetic approach Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset Comfortable using computers, CRM systems, and call-handling software Reliable, punctual, and open to working flexible hours
SOME OF SHIFTS WE ARE LOOKING TO HIRE FOR
Saturdays 7am-2pm Saturdays 2pm-7pm Mondays 8am-12pm Overnight availability We are also looking for someone flexible and open to participating in a rotating weekly on-call schedule!
