ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
A Customer Service Specialist shall assist and educate Medi-Cal beneficiaries with selecting a managed health care plan. Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times. Responding promptly to customer inquiries. Communicating with customers through various channels. Acknowledging and resolving customer complaints. Communicating and coordinating with colleagues as necessary. Providing feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process. Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
Education:
At least HS diploma / GED Working knowledge of Microsoft office and ability to learn and utilize software applications.
Bilingual Skills:
English and one of the following: Cantonese, Mandarin, Spanish, Armenian, Cambodian, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Tagalog, Thai, Laotian, Vietnamese.
Preferred:
6 months Customer service experience preferred Previous experience with computers, phone systems, and headsets preferred.
