We handle the moving parts of group benefits so our clients can focus on running their operations. We're a collaborative team that moves quickly, takes ownership of our work, and treats every client interaction as a chance to make benefits feel less complicated. About the Role We're hiring a Client Services Assistant to support the operations and onboarding functions of our team. This is a hands-on role that touches nearly every part of the client lifecycle. You'll be the person who keeps things organized, responsive, and moving forward. The role is structured as part-time to start, with a clear path to full-time as you grow into the work and as the business expands. If you want to learn the benefits industry from the ground up alongside experienced operators, this is a strong place to do it. What You'll Do Support client onboarding and ongoing service across a range of accounts Manage documentation, records, and reporting for internal and client-facing use Handle communication with clients, carriers, and members via phone and email Assist with billing follow-up and account organization Contribute to platform and process improvement projects across the team Take on additional responsibilities as you grow into the role The day-to-day is varied. We'll walk through the full scope during the interview process. What We're Looking For Strong written communication. You can write a clear, professional email without supervision and adapt your tone to the audience. Comfortable with technology and quick to learn new platforms. Familiarity with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) is helpful, or a genuine willingness to learn. We use AI across the business and want someone who's open to working that way. Solid Excel skills (sorting, filtering, basic formulas, working with data sets). Customer service or helpdesk experience, ideally in a setting where you handled both phone and email communication. Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple open items without losing track of what's outstanding. Reliable follow-through. We're trusting you to close loops, not just open them. Nice to Have Background in employee benefits, insurance, HR, or payroll Experience with a benefits administration platform (Employee Navigator, Ease, or similar) Familiarity with Salesforce or another CRM Logistics Hybrid schedule, 20-30 hours per week Path to full-time as the role and business grow
