out of 5 stars Client Services Specialist Ambassador Education Solutions, a national provider of course materials to higher education colleges and universities, and to K12 schools, seeks a Client Services Specialist to join our Client Services Team. The position's work schedule is hybrid and resides in the Distribution Center in Plainview, NY.Overview of Position:
The Client Services Specialist is part of an outstanding Client Services Team responsible for providing best in class customer service to our clients, exceeding client satisfaction, while maintaining value-added relationships. This role is critical to our Company as it acts as the primary point of contact to our valued clients.Scope of Responsibilities:
Communicate with clients and publishers on a daily basis to handle client concerns, inquiries, claims and any other special services required. Monitor warehoused and/or physical inventory for assigned clients and adjust as necessary by initiating transfers, returns, etc. Audit publisher pricing on a quarterly basis to ensure that clients are charged with current pricing. Review inventory aging report monthly to identify and return books that are not selling and receive credit from the publisher. Respond to low inventory alerts by placing orders or initiating transfers and monitor subsequent back orders. Utilize aging and forecast trending reports to accurately order and manage inventory. Complete regularly scheduled reports. Format, modify, and upload Excel spreadsheets containing assigned clients' booklists for each semester start. Perform quality control on client booklists for pricing and publisher verification. Manage all course material requirements to ensure proper set up and distribution. Perform order entry and manifesting of telephone, e-mail or faxed orders. Review pricing and mark-ups to ensure accuracy for clients. Follow through on book orders and transfers to ensure timely delivery to assigned clients. Perform site clean-up prior to semester starts by pricing. Ensure that company policies and procedures are followed and authorize exceptions to policies and procedures within approved guidelines. Operates inventory control software, word processing and spreadsheet applications.Requirements:
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED), required. Associates Degree (two-year college or technical school), preferred. Two to three years of previous client service experience. Experience with Microsoft Office suite and the ability to learn and utilize proprietary software.
