Role:
The Client Services Specialist position is responsible for serving as the key point of contact for assigned clients throughout the annual Affordable Care Act (ACA) reporting process. The Client Services Specialist is the point person for our clients and provides overall project management, including the proactive initiation of communications and delivery of services and resources to support the annual reporting process. This position is extremely client-focused, and one is expected to exercise mature judgment and communication proficiency while having the ability to identify and resolve problematic issues while providing the highest level of customer service. This position requires superior communication, writing abilities, and interpersonal skills. A commitment to teamwork, an eye for detail, and the ability to manage time, handle multiple priorities, and work independently are also essential
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain effective working relationships as a liaison with clients and Lumelight team members. Manage and monitor client accounts to ensure that all records and information from which services are provided are received in a timely manner. Collect data and analyze for accuracy, while monitoring client engagement and satisfaction. Communicate effectively and efficiently with clients and team members. Identify problems or issues and ensure all are responded to and resolved accordingly. Ensure on-time and accurate reporting to meet contractual requirements and client expectations. Maintain current working knowledge of benefit laws and regulations, specifically ones tied to the Affordable Care Act. Represents Lumelight Team when interacting with broker/client. Provide quality control for ACA reporting clients. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required Education:
College degree and/or two to four years of work experience that was client-facing and required consistent customer service etiquette and skills.
Years of experience:
At least 2 years of experience Technical knowledge: Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and comfortable using Microsoft Windows PCs.
Certifications:
N/A Required software: N/A Preferred Knowledge of principles and practices of employee benefits compliance. Working knowledge of federal laws and regulations and government report preparation. Industry experience related to Lumelight's business or customer needs
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organization and time management skills Customer service orientation and commitment to responsive support Problem-solving skills and sound judgment Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and functions Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Experience with CRM, HRIS, ERP, or other business systems, as applicable Analytical thinking and ability to interpret information to support decisions W ork
Environment:
This position is a remote position within approved Lumelight states. This job operates in a professional office environment, whether in person or remotely. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers. Equipment will be provided to you.
Expected Hours of Work:
Monday through Friday, 40 hours a week, following an agreed-upon schedule. Extended hours and/or weekends will be required during the busiest season of ACA reporting, which mainly occurs in the first quarter of the calendar year.
