Job Description

Description The Commercial Loan Specialist III position for CLO-Capital Markets Operations, a division of Citizens Bank, N.A., is part of the Leasing Operations Team. Leasing Ops is responsible for servicing the Bank's multi-billion-dollar leasing portfolio. The incumbent is responsible for the day-to-day servicing needs of the Asset Finance Portfolio in accordance with Citizen's policies and procedures. The Specialist will provide a high level of internal and external customer service. A successful candidate will provide level one support to research and remediate issues and act as a liaison with key business partners. The applicant should have experience working under tight deadlines and dealing with continuous shifting/completing priorities.
  • Monitors key production processes, ensuring payments are processed timely and accurately
  • Process renewal, maintenance and disposition activities within the leasing portfolio
  • Reconcile direct deposit accounts, research incoming cash and accurately post funds to Lease/Loan accounts
  • Reconcile internal general ledger accounts ensuring all items clear within department SLA
  • Coordinates with teammates ensuring all tasks are performed accurately each day
  • Effectively work with partners, customers, legal, and third parties to coordinate and process Leases on the InfoLease system
  • Collect, review and analyze data and leasing documentation to ensure compliance with Bank, departmental policy and procedure, and/or regulatory and risk requirements and expectations
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and reconciliation
  • Collaborate with Management and provide support with daily reporting and other ad hoc requests Qualifications 3-5 years of relevant experience in a lease/lending environment with knowledge of customary products, practices and policies.
Strong analytical thinker who can identify connections between various pieces of data and systems and quickly articulate customer impact Working knowledge of accounting principles Exceptional customer service and communication skills Proficiency in MS Office 10 with strong excel skills such as vLookups and pivot tables Highly motivated and team-oriented Ability to manage and resolve moderately complex problems Excellent time management skills with the ability to effectively manage day to day work challenges, adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity and rapid change. Strong organizational skills with the ability to function efficiently in a high volume, detailed and deadline-oriented environment while maintaining service level agreements
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Knowledge of Leasing InfoLease Portfolio Management System Prior experience in a mid to large operations department
