Customer Services Support Operator Ampcus, Inc United States, Illinois, Buffalo Grove Jun 20, 2026 Ampcus Inc. is a certified global provider of a broad range of Technology and Business consulting services. We are in search of a highly motivated candidate to join our talented Team.
Job Title:
Customer Services Support Operator Location(s): Buffalo Grove, IL (
Hybrid:
2 days onsite: Tuesday & Wednesday temporarily, may be fully remote during office renovation) Key Responsibilities Handle customer inquiries through phone, email, and online chat. Work in a call-center environment (approximately 50% phone support). Manage customer requests, escalations, and issue resolution. Process orders, returns, credits, debits, quotes, and status updates in SAP. Manage CRM queues and customer communications. Support customers using online ordering and catalog platforms. Document all customer interactions in CRM. Coordinate with suppliers regarding orders, returns, and product inquiries. Support real-time online chat requests. Research and resolve customer issues through collaboration with internal teams. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. 2+ years of customer support/customer service experience. Strong verbal and written English communication skills. Microsoft Office proficiency. Ability to handle customer inquiries and escalations professionally. Strong customer service and problem-solving skills. Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree. Experience supporting HVAC, Building Automation, or Fire Safety customers. SAP experience. Salesforce experience. Key Technologies SAP Salesforce CRM Microsoft Office DayForce (timekeeping) Candidate Profile Best suited for candidates with: Customer service or call-center experience. Order management and customer support operations experience. SAP order-processing experience. Salesforce/CRM experience. Strong communication and multitasking abilities. Seniority Level Entry-level to mid-level customer support professional (approximately 2-5 years of experience). Not a technical engineering role.
