Job Description

Property & Casualty Insurance Customer Service will be responsible for managing current client download accounts, certificates of insurance handling, providing customer service with insurance products, and assist clients with claims and policy changes. Must have a P&C license and 3 to 5 years experience in commercial insurance. When licensed will perform additional duties such as marketing and sales. Prepares summaries of insurance, schedules, and proposals as needed for account review. Renews policies following agency standards; verify each renewal's accuracy; ensures that all renewals are processed. Reviews audits of policies; verify accuracy and facilitates corrections, as needed, between client and carrier. Downloads, maintains and updates files in the agency management system. Verifies accuracy of all direct billed cancellations and takes appropriate corrective action when needed. Determines reasons for requests for cancellations; acts to save accounts; notify producers according to agency standards. Processes and follow up on cancellations request to carriers to ensure accurate and timely resolution. Assists clients in submitting first reports of claims, facilitates prompt response from carrier staff and follows up on claims status to keep insureds informed.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of property & casualty insurance products and usages. Adequate knowledge of rating procedures, coverages, and industry operations to effectively manage, maintain, and write assigned client and prospect lists. Knowledge of insurance markets and reference to markets. Knowledge of insurance rating and underwriting procedures. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers, and to accurately perform simple calculations involving decimals and fractions. Knowledge of or willing to learn QQ Catalyst Agency Management System. Active Property and Casualty License preferred. Potential for Hybrid Remote available.
Pay:
$28.00 - $29.00 per hour
