Duties Engage with potential patients for scheduling and insurance purposes. Conduct thorough needs analysis for patients by assessing their financial situations and insurance requirements to recommend appropriate payment options. Verify insurance benefits for a mental health clinic. Manage tasks such as maintaining accurate records, and following up on verifications monthly, collecting copays and scheduling patients. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient questions, explaining policy features clearly, and assisting with claims or benefits administration. Ensure compliance with industry regulations such as HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) while handling sensitive client information. Skills Proven experience in benefit verification. Strong customer service skills paired with excellent communication abilities. Multilingual or bilingual proficiency (a plus) to serve diverse customer groups confidently. Familiarity with benefits administration processes along with federal and state guidelines regarding HIPAA and medical office.

Pay:

$12.00 - $18.00 per hour
