//www.youtube.com/watch?v=qXOxpyNloHg Job Description The position supports both warehouse and customer service functions to ensure smooth daily operations and strong customer relationships. Responsibilities include receiving and organizing materials, picking and packing orders, performing inventory tasks, and operating forklifts and related equipment. The role also manages UPS and FedEx shipments by preparing packages, processing labels, coordinating pickups, and maintaining accurate documentation. On the customer-facing side, the position provides timely and accurate service through email and phone, including order entry, product information, availability updates, and issue resolution. It contributes to overall sales growth by supporting showroom activities and maintaining clear communication with customers and internal teams across sales, service, and warehouse functions.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with warehouse tasks including receiving, organizing, and storing materials. Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely; valid forklift certification required. Support showroom organization and customer assistance. Label products accurately for inventory and identification. Assist customers in person and by phone with professional, timely service. Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment. Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment. Build and maintain positive customer relationships to support business growth. Conduct outreach, follow up on quotes, and reconnect with past customers to drive sales. Provide clear product information and help identify customer needs. Process and manage orders in SAP, coordinating back orders and delivery timelines. Prepare UPS/FedEx shipments, process labels, and coordinate pickups. Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications and Skills:
Post‑secondary education or equivalent experience supporting both customer‑facing and warehouse duties. Forklift certification with at least 2 years of warehouse/forklift operation experience (required). Customer service or sales experience in a customer‑focused or sales‑driven environment (asset). UPS/FedEx shipment handling experience, including labeling, documentation, and pickup coordination (required). SAP experience preferred; ability to use computers, scanners, and related systems. Physical ability requirements including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods. Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, self‑discipline, and a professional work ethic.
