Has a warm, friendly, and welcoming personality Enjoys talking with clients and building relationships Truly loves working with animals Can remain positive and professional when things get hectic Is comfortable switching between tasks and priorities throughout the day Is confident learning and using technology Can problem-solve rather than becoming overwhelmed when something doesn't go as planned Is comfortable both giving and receiving constructive feedback Understands that teamwork is essential in a small business What You'll Do As a Client Care Representative, your responsibilities will include: Help ensure all patients are safe and that their needs are met during their visit to Pet's Favorite Vet Provide a pleasant, welcoming, and frictionless experience for clients and their pets Greet clients and patients with a friendly, upbeat attitude Assist clients with technology used for check-in, retrieving records, scheduling appointments, completing forms, and other digital processes Schedule appointments and assist clients with understanding the services their pets need Document care and client communication accurately in our electronic medical records system Field incoming phone calls, text messages, and emails Triage communications and determine what needs the attention of the Patient Care Representative or Veterinarian Communicate clearly and professionally with clients regarding their pets' care Educate clients on available payment options Accurately collect and process payments Help coordinate the flow of patients, clients, and team members throughout the hospital Work closely with the veterinary and daycare/boarding teams to ensure information is communicated accurately Maintain a clean, organized, welcoming front desk and lobby Assist with other client care and hospital duties as needed You Should Be Comfortable With Technology You don't have to know everything about veterinary medicine when you walk through our doors — we can teach you that. You do need to be someone who is comfortable learning new technology and systems.Our ideal candidate is:
Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new software Able to navigate electronic records and multiple computer systems Comfortable communicating through phone, text, and email Willing to learn new technology rather than avoiding it Detail-oriented when entering information into electronic recordsRequired Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent Friendly, professional, and positive attitude Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Ability to work effectively as part of a team Comfortable working in close quarters with dogs and cats Ability to give and receive constructive criticism Strong problem-solving skills Reliable and dependablePreferred:
Previous veterinary hospital experience Previous experience in a veterinary receptionist/client service role Experience with veterinary practice management software Customer service or medical office experience What We're Looking For We aren't necessarily looking for someone who knows every veterinary term or medication on day one.
