Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional service and support. The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for assisting customers with general inquiries related to sales orders and providing product quotes and support via phone and email. The CSR will process incoming customer orders received through email, fax, or portals by keying new orders into our Infor Software system while working closely with team members to ensure order accuracy. Additional tasks include, but are not limited to, assisting with answering a multi-line phone system when needed, filing or other tasks assigned at the discretion of the Sales Manager.
Knowledge:
Basic computer skills Basic mathematics and applications Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Internet Explorer, Edge, Google Chrome) Office Equipment (postage machine, fax, copier, printers, phones, etc.)
Skills and Abilities:
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word Strong communication skills (verbal and written) Exceptional phone and email etiquette Pays attention to detail Complete and perform tasks accurately and efficiently Able to analyze information and determine action necessary to resolve issues Able to work closely with other employees Able to multi-task Organized & Self-sufficient Must be punctual and maintain exceptional attendance
Experience and Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred
  • At least 1 year of Customer Service experience (manufacturing environment) (Sales experience a plus) Experience with Data Entry Knowledge with Infor ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Software a plus, but not required Proficient in Microsoft applications and programs
Physical Setting:
Office Environment Reports to work, In-person Ability to commute/relocate: Walhalla, SC 29691: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) No relocation benefits Must be able to interview In-person
