West Columbia, SC Pay:
$15.00-18.00 per hour

1-2 years in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital About Our Practice Van Crest Animal Hospital has proudly served the West Columbia community for more than 20 years. Our two-doctor practice provides comprehensive veterinary services including preventive care, surgery, dentistry, and wellness programs for dogs and cats. We are committed to building strong relationships with our clients while providing compassionate care for their pets. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our team. This role serves as the first point of contact for our clients and plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and professional experience for pet owners and their pets. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced veterinary environment , communicating with clients about routine pet care, and supporting the veterinary team. Applicants without veterinary clinic experience will not be considered. Key Responsibilities Greet clients and patients in a friendly and professional manner Answer phones, emails, and text messages and assist clients with scheduling appointments Check patients in and out while maintaining accurate records Process payments and handle financial transactions Communicate general information regarding vaccines, heartworm prevention, and flea/tick prevention Assist with administrative duties including filing, scanning, and data entry Support veterinarians and technicians with daily hospital operations Required Qualifications 1-2 years of experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office High school diploma or equivalent Reliable, punctual, and professional Preferred Experience Familiarity with veterinary practice management software (Avimark, Cornerstone, eVetPractice, ImproMed, etc.) Knowledge of canine and feline vaccine protocols Experience discussing flea/tick and heartworm prevention with clients Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Paid time off 401k with match
