Job Description

  • Overview:
  • We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Customer Service/Sales person to join our team.
This position will be in our Pearl Museum. The position has set days of Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday with occasional days added. EVERY weekend is required. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, maintain a clean and organized store environment, and contribute to our store's success through effective sales and inventory management.
  • Duties:
  • Greet customers and provide a welcoming shopping experience-Assist customer with a small tour
  • Assist customers in finding the products they need and provide information on products
  • Operate a cash register and handle customer transactions accurately
  • Maintain store appearance by restocking shelves and cleaning the store
  • Develop knowledge of our products and services to effectively upsell and make recommendations to customers
  • Use basic math skills to accurately handle cash, count change, and balance the cash register
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales and customer service goals
  • Stay knowledgeable about our products, services, and promotions to provide accurate information to customers
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude
  • Perform other tasks as required to support the smooth operation of the store
  • Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift, bend, and stock products
  • Strong sales and customer service skills
  • Ability to work effectively with others and provide excellent customer service
  • Knowledge of cash handling procedures and ability to operate a cash register
  • Ability to upsell and make recommendations to customers
