Service Writer

About Us We are a fast-growing Boat & RV dealership focused on delivering a high-quality customer experience from sale to service. Our service department is a critical part of our operation, and we're looking for someone who can help us keep it running efficiently and professionally. The Role The Service Writer is the bridge between the customer and the service team. You'll be responsible for checking customers in, writing service tickets, communicating updates, and ensuring every service experience is smooth and well-managed. What You'll Do Greet customers and check in units for service Write and manage repair orders (ROs) Clearly document customer concerns and service needs Communicate between customers and technicians Provide updates on service status and timelines Coordinate scheduling and workflow in the service department Assist with warranty claims and approvals Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction What We're Looking For Strong communication and customer service skills Organized and detail-oriented Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Professional, dependable, and team-oriented Basic computer skills (CRM/DMS systems, email, etc.) Bonus Points (Not Required) Experience as a service writer or advisor Background in RV, marine, or automotive service Familiarity with warranty processes and repair orders Why Join Us Stable, full-time position Growing dealership with opportunity to advance Team-focused environment Competitive pay based on experience Bottom Line If you're organized, great with people, and can keep things moving in a fast-paced service environment—we want to talk.
