Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Front Desk/Preliminary Estimator to join our Toyota/Lexus Certified Collision Center team. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for customers, manage incoming inquiries, and assist in preliminary vehicle damage assessments. Your enthusiasm and automotive knowledge will help ensure a smooth workflow from customer arrival through the estimation process, contributing to an outstanding repair experience. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly upon arrival and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit Collect detailed information about vehicle damage and repair needs from customers Use estimating software to prepare initial damage assessments and repair estimates accurately Communicate effectively with technicians, service advisors, and insurance adjusters to facilitate smooth repair processes Upsell additional services as needed when appropriate. Handle cash transactions and process payments securely with attention to detail Maintain organized records of customer interactions, estimates, and vehicle information for efficient workflow Skills Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Automotive diagnostics knowledge combined with mechanical understanding of collision repairs Experience with estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools Familiarity with dealership operations, auto service management, and collision repair procedures Ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining integrity and customer trust Mechanical experience or background as a service technician is a plus Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and record keeping Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; driving experience preferred Basic cash handling skills combined with professional client communication skills Join us in delivering top-tier collision repair services while advancing your career in a dynamic automotive environment!
Pay:
$31,200.00 - $56,118.16 per year
