Job Description

Job Overview We are looking for a highly organized and customer-focused Tow Operator Dispatcher to join our team. In this key role, you'll be responsible for coordinating tow truck operations, dispatching drivers efficiently, and ensuring exceptional service to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dispatching, transportation, or logistics, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills..
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the first point of contact for customers, answering calls and addressing service requests via a multi-line phone system. Dispatch tow truck drivers using GPS, GIS, and dispatching tools to ensure timely responses and efficient routing. Track job statuses and keep customers informed of estimated arrival times, delays, and service updates. Work closely with drivers to manage fleet operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and on-time service. Analyze routes and driver performance to improve service delivery and reduce downtime. Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, insurance companies, and law enforcement as needed. Maintain records and reports related to tows, deliveries, and incidents. Prior experience in dispatch, customer service, or logistics—preferably in towing, transportation, or fleet management. Strong communication skills, with a professional phone manner and ability to handle high call volumes. Detail-oriented with excellent data entry and typing skills. Ability to think quickly, solve problems under pressure, and make sound decisions in urgent situations. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
