Morning Cashier & Customer Service

•Opening Shift DeFazio's Pizzeria is looking for a friendly, dependable morning cashier who can become a familiar face for our regular customers and help create the welcoming atmosphere we're known for. This is more than taking orders. We need someone who is positive, outgoing, organized, and dependable and who genuinely enjoys talking with customers. Responsibilities Open and prepare the front of the restaurant for the day Greet every customer warmly Take dine-in, takeout, and phone orders accurately Operate the POS and handle payments Build relationships with our regular customers Keep the counter, dining area, drink station, and front-of-house areas clean and stocked Help package and check orders Communicate clearly with the kitchen Stay productive during slower periods Help wherever needed to keep service running smoothly What We're Looking For Weekend availability is required Reliable transportation Dependable and punctual Naturally friendly and comfortable talking with customers Positive attitude and welcoming personality Accurate with orders and money Organized and able to multitask Takes initiative without constantly needing direction Works well with both customers and coworkers Able to learn our menu and confidently answer customer questions We especially want someone who enjoys getting to know people. Our regular customers are important to us, and we're looking for someone who will remember faces, learn names and favorite orders, and make customers feel genuinely welcome when they walk through the door.
