Cashier/Customer Service

Duties Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping experience, including product demos when applicable Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately to process transactions quickly and efficiently Handle cash, credit, and digital payments with precision, maintaining proper cash handling procedures Upsell products by recommending additional items that enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to ensure a clean, inviting shopping environment Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Support inventory management through stocking, product rotation, and inventory checks as needed Requirements Previous cashiering experience or familiarity with POS systems is preferred Strong communication skills in both English and bilingual capabilities are highly valued Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math for sales calculations Experience in supervising or mentoring team members is a plus but not required Knowledge of grocery store operations, including merchandising and stocking practices Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting or moving merchandise This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their retail career in a lively environment.
