Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs in a friendly, professional manner Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for checkout transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing Provide product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to ensure an inviting shopping environment Assist with stocking inventory and managing inventory levels to meet customer demand Engage customers through effective communication skills, including bilingual support if applicable Handle customer inquiries over the phone with proper phone etiquette and resolve issues promptly Support sales goals by actively promoting products and offering suggestions for add-on or complementary items Qualifications Prior experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a customer-focused attitude are essential Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic retail math skills Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities to serve diverse customer bases Experience in supervising or leading team members is a plus but not mandatory Ability to stand for extended periods, lift merchandise, and perform physical tasks associated with stocking and merchandising Knowledge of grocery store operations or retail environments is advantageous Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service with professionalism and patience Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering memorable shopping experiences!
