This role combines efficient cashiering with proactive customer engagement, creating a welcoming environment that encourages repeat visits. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help drive sales, promote products, and uphold the high standards of our retail store. Whether handling transactions, assisting with product demos, or providing exceptional service, you'll play a vital role in delivering a positive shopping experience for every guest. Duties Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately to process transactions swiftly and securely. Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and assist with product inquiries to enhance their shopping experience. Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement and upselling opportunities. Manage cash handling responsibilities with precision, including balancing registers and maintaining accurate cash flow records. Support merchandising efforts by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented and accessible. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing concerns professionally and resolving issues promptly. Assist with inventory management tasks such as stock replenishment and inventory counts to ensure product availability. Skills Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures to ensure accurate transactions. Prior supervising experience in retail or grocery store environments is highly desirable for leadership support roles. Ability to perform retail math confidently for sales calculations, discounts, and inventory management. Strong communication skills in both verbal and written forms; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers. Experience with upselling techniques and product demos to maximize sales opportunities. Knowledge of merchandising principles and stocking procedures to maintain an attractive store layout. Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries professionally over the phone. Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced retail or grocery store setting.
