The Opportunity The Customer Service Representative is responsible for supporting customers and internal teams by managing orders, answering inquiries, and ensuring a high level of service throughout the customer experience. This role plays a key part in maintaining strong customer relationships by providing timely, accurate information and resolving issues with professionalism and urgency. Duties and Responsibilities Serve as a primary point of contact for customers via phone, email, and other communication channels Enter and manage customer orders accurately, ensuring all details are complete and aligned with production requirements Provide product information, order status updates, and general support to customers and internal teams Respond to customer questions, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to orders, shipping, or product inquiries; escalate when appropriate Maintain accurate customer records, including order details, communications, and account updates Coordinate with internal teams such as sales, production, and shipping to ensure smooth order fulfillment Monitor open orders and follow up proactively to ensure deadlines and expectations are met Support continuous improvement by identifying recurring customer issues or process gaps Perform other related duties as assigned Required Skills/Abilities Strong verbal and written communication skills, including active listening Customer-focused mindset with the ability to handle issues professionally and effectively Strong attention to detail and accuracy, especially with order entry and documentation Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment Problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and escalate when needed Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office; ability to learn internal systems and ERP platforms Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required 1-3 years of experience in customer service, order entry, or administrative support (manufacturing or industrial environment preferred) Experience working with order processing, ERP systems, or customer databases is a plus Experience supporting customers in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment preferred What We Offer Competitive hourly pay based on experience Health, dental, vision, and retirement benefits Stable, growth-oriented manufacturing environment Opportunity to grow within a team focused on quality, accountability, and customer satisfaction
