Job Purpose At Fast Park & Relax, the Parking Guest Ambassador plays a vital role in delivering a smooth, efficient, and welcoming arrival experience for our guests. This position is responsible for managing parking operations within a designated area, ensuring safe traffic flow, maximizing parking capacity, and providing exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities Direct incoming and outgoing traffic to available parking spaces using clear hand signals and verbal communication Monitor parking areas to ensure efficient space utilization and prevent congestion Enforce parking policies, including time limits and restricted zones Assist guests with questions regarding parking availability, directions, and procedures Resolve parking-related issues such as lost tickets or vehicle lockouts Communicate regularly with team members to maintain efficient operations Operate parking equipment including gates, ticket dispensers, and payment systems Track and report parking activity, including occupancy, revenue, and incidents Maintain a clean, safe, and organized parking facility Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Ability to stand, walk, and direct traffic for extended periods Team-oriented mindset with a positive, guest-focused approach Previous experience in parking, hospitality, or customer service is preferred Employee Benefits Fast Park & Relax offers a comprehensive benefits package, including: Medical (PPO or HDHP) Dental Vision Health Savings Account (HSA) Basic Life / AD&D Insurance Supplemental Life / AD&D Insurance Disability Insurance Employee Assistance Program (EAP) 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan Paid Time Off (PTO) Holiday Pay Work Environment This role is primarily outdoors in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting. Required Education:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Experience:
Minimum of one year of experience in dispatching, customer service or a related field. Experience handling high-volume phone calls and radio communications. Experience working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain professionalism with diverse individuals. Ability to effectively handle stressful situations and resolve conflicts calmly and efficiently. Proficient in basic math and computer skills. Ability to read and interpret maps and directions. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and meet deadlines. Knowledge of parking procedures (preferred). Ability to operate two-way radios and other communication equipment. Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation. Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds. Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl as needed. Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to communicate effectively in English (both written and spoken). Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
