Job Description
As a Service Advisor at Asbury Automotive Group, you will be the main link between customers and our service technicians, delivering a seamless, customer-focused experience. You will greet customers, accurately document vehicle concerns, recommend maintenance and repairs, and clearly communicate pricing, timing, and repair status. Working within our performance-driven culture, you'll use dealership systems and OEM guidelines to write repair orders, verify warranty coverage, coordinate with parts and technicians, and ensure work is completed on time. You'll review invoices, explain services performed, and promote recommended maintenance and loyalty programs to drive retention and revenue. Responsibilities Greet customers and act as primary liaison between customers and service technicians Write, explain, and manage repair orders from check-in through vehicle delivery Review vehicle concerns, recommend maintenance and repair services, and secure customer approvals Communicate repair status, timing, and pricing clearly via phone, text, and in person Verify warranty and insurance coverage and ensure accurate documentation Coordinate with parts and service teams to optimize workflow and meet promised times Perform final invoice review, collect payment, and ensure customer satisfaction Promote dealership service offers and loyalty programs to support retention and revenue goals Maintain accurate records in dealership management and CRM systems Support Asbury Automotive Group's performance-driven, customer-focused culture and meet CSI targets Required Skills Automotive repair knowledge Service writing Customer relationship management (CRM) DMS software (Reynolds/Reynolds, CDK, etc.) Repair order management Upselling services Warranty and OEM policy knowledge Multi-point inspection review Basic accounting/billing Appointment scheduling
