Duties Greet customers warmly, assist with product inquiries, and provide product demonstrations when needed Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for cash, credit, and digital payments Manage cash handling procedures with precision, ensuring balanced registers at shift end Upsell products and promote store promotions to enhance customer satisfaction and sales Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to ensure an inviting shopping environment Assist with stocking, inventory counts, and replenishing merchandise throughout the store Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining phone etiquette Requirements Previous cashiering experience or familiarity with POS systems is preferred Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customers Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities are advantageous for team collaboration Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math calculations, and sales transactions Experience in grocery stores or retail sales environments is highly desirable Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude Knowledge of merchandising, stocking procedures, and product demos is beneficial Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism This vibrant role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their retail career while delivering outstanding service.
