Job Description

The Ballpark at League City is a premier recreational facility offering a diverse range of activities for youth and adults. Our facility boasts bat and ball turf fields, indoor arenas for soccer and flag football, sand volleyball courts, and a vibrant atmosphere with two restaurants serving a full menu and alcohol beverages. In addition to sport events, the facility also hosts special events, private gatherings, and provide a hub for community engagement and active lifestyles. The Member Services Representative provides front-line customer service support for league operations at The Ballpark. Assists participants, coaches, and the public by delivering accurate information, processing transactions, and supporting program staff to ensure efficient and professional league operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides customer service assistance to participants during league nights, including responding to inquiries regarding rosters, payments, and general program information. Facilitates team and coach check-in processes for scheduled league activities. Processes rental transactions and assists teams with rental-related needs in accordance with established procedures. Supports the Sports Program Manager and Sports Coordinators with event preparation and operational tasks for league nights. Answers and directs incoming phone calls, providing accurate information and assistance to callers. Utilizes and maintains proficiency in department software systems, including EZ Facility and Toast. Assists with general customer service functions as assigned within the scope of operations. Operates the Team Store, including processing sales transactions, assisting customers, and monitoring and reporting inventory levels.
Other Duties:
Performs other related duties as assigned to support departmental operations. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Valid Texas driver's license At least one (1) year of related experience Ability to work as needed (includes weekends, evenings and some holidays) Supplemental Information Ability to work with diverse age groups and backgrounds in a positive and inclusive manner. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication. Conflict resolution and decision-making skills. Ability to sit, stand, and/or walk for extended periods. Basic computer literacy including Microsoft Office Suite.
