Customer Service Representative

McAllen, TX Job Details Full-time $13 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Teamwork Customer service High school diploma or GED Organizational skills Order fulfillment Full Job Description Works with referral sources, physician's offices and clients to build an order. Works with company billing personnel to provide documents needed for reimbursement.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Responsible for all incoming referrals and orders for delivery and pick up, including but not limited to:
  • Client demographics
  • Emergency contact information
  • Insurance information and verification
  • Physician information
  • Diagnosis
  • Billing information Completes verification of insurance for DME coverage and prior authorization information, including but not limited to:
  • Deductible
  • Effective date
  • Claims address Is familiar with the rules and regulations regarding the type of coverage for all equipment.
Requests assignment of benefits, prescriptions, letters of medical necessity, and other required information. Tracks and requests renewal authorizations as needed. Completes any special instructions for billing to the client's insurance prior to the delivery. Work with DME Director and warehouse personnel to meet the client's needs for unusual equipment or supplies. Process orders for walk-in customers, will be required to measure clients. Inform client or client's caregiver of benefits (what the policy reimburses). Arrange private pay billing if required. Work with family or referral source and warehouse personnel on delivery and/or pick up arrangements. Responsible for confirming completed work orders in a timely manner. Responsible for forwarding completed paperwork to the DME Director to log equipment set-up and pick up for tracking purposes. Promotes teamwork among co-workers, including assisting fellow office workers, as needed. Demonstrates timeliness, courtesy, sincerity, patience and good attitude when dealing with customers. Represents the company in a positive and professional manner at all times. Assumes other duties within scope of training as assigned by the DME Director, Administrator or other designee.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited high school or GED equivalency
Experience/Knowledge:
Good organizational skills. Willing to function as a cooperative team member. Responsible and cooperative attitude. Clean and neat in personal appearance.
