Overview We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Your responsibilities will include handling transactions, assisting customers with inquiries, and maintaining an organized store environment. Must be 21 to apply Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs. Operate cash registers and process transactions accurately using POS systems. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring proper cash handling procedures. Maintain an organized checkout area and restock merchandise as needed. Provide information about products and services, including upselling where appropriate. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction. Assist in supervising junior staff members when necessary to ensure smooth operations. Perform basic math calculations for transactions and change. Skills Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Proficient in cash handling and operating cash registers or POS systems. Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. Experience in retail sales is preferred but not required. Ability to effectively stock merchandise and maintain store organization. Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone. Knowledge of upselling techniques to enhance sales opportunities. Supervisory skills are a plus for overseeing junior staff.
