Barney Trucking, a leader in specialized transportation for over 75 years, continues to expand. We are currently seeking a Service Writer for our corporate office in Salina. The position offers $60k + annual salary depending on experience and operates from: Monday to Friday 12PM - 9PM Occasionally On call (weekend-approximately every 10 weeks.)

Job Requirements:

Graduation from High School or GED equivalent and specialized training in mechanics, maintenance management, or a closely related field; or any combination of education and experience Knowledge pertaining to the maintenance and diagnostics of heavy-duty truck and trailer system - experience with belly/end dumps, pneumatics, and chemical tanks, preferred Ability to professionally interact with drivers and vendors in a positive manner Basic proficiency with computer systems (word, excel, etc.). Experience with Transman (TMT) software is a plus Effective verbal and written skills Ability to occasionally lift upwards of 50 lbs.
