Responsibilities Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process sales, returns, and exchanges with accuracy and speed Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and assist with product demos to enhance their shopping experience Handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and perform daily cash handling duties with integrity Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to ensure products are attractive and accessible Upsell products and promote store specials to maximize sales opportunities Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring customer satisfaction Support inventory management through stocking, inventory checks, and assisting with product replenishment Qualifications Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred Strong communication skills with the ability to engage bilingual customers effectively Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math for accurate cash handling and transactions Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities are a plus for team support roles Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for long periods, stocking shelves, and moving merchandise Excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or in person A proactive attitude towards upselling, merchandising, and providing outstanding customer service Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering top-notch service while developing your skills in retail sales!
