Overview Join our dynamic, small team at Craters & Freighters located in Kent, WA, where each day is unique given the wide variety of customers and items we provide packaging and shipping services for! We're looking for an enthusiastic team member to be the first point of contact for our customers, offering exceptional service and support. In this role, you'll manage quotes, resolve customer issues, and ensure a seamless experience. You'll also help us build and oversee AI-powered automation to do our work faster and more accurately over time. For those interested in growing their office management skills, there are some assistant duties available to take on for the General Manager. We value strong communication (email and phone), attention to detail, and a commitment to helping others. Being a bit of a perfectionist would be very helpful in this role. What You'll Do Data Entry & Systems Management Enter shipping quotes, customer information, and freight details into our quoting systems Maintain accurate records for each job-dimensions, weights, carrier selections, and costs Look up and compare freight rates across multiple carriers Keep customer accounts clean and organized. No duplicates, no missing info AI & Automation Help implement and refine AI-driven automations that handle routine data entry tasks Review AI-generated entries for accuracy and completeness before they go live Correct errors and flag patterns so the automations improve over time Serve as the human backstop — when the AI can't handle an edge case, you step in and get it right Customer Communication Answer incoming phone calls and respond to emails promptly and professionally Gather quote requests and shipment details from customers Relay status updates, pricing, and next steps to customers Escalate complex or time-sensitive requests as needed What We're Looking For Experience with AI tools, automation platforms, or prompt engineering Strong attention to detail.
