The preferred candidate should demonstrate strong customer service abilities and a positive, proactive attitude to help deliver exceptional experience to customers. Basic Function Perform a variety of clerical and administrative functions related to inventory control and the movement of products into, within, and out of the plant, including shipping, receiving, and custom processing activities. Ensure accurate documentation, data entry, and coordination of inbound and outbound product flow. Provide operational support and back-up assistance for warehouse operations as needed. Essential Duties 1) Responsible for receiving and tallying all inbound products into the warehouse management system. 2) Handle inventory control duties, such as preparing, checking, and accurately entering data for warehouse receipts, bills of lading, inbound shipment records, and customs processing activities into the Warehouse Management System (WMS). Share important information with department supervisors and customers by email or phone, as needed, to ensure all charges are correct and clearly communicated. 3) Collect, generate, and maintain documentation and system records pertaining to warehousing, as well as inbound and outbound shipments. Ensure that all information is accurately routed to the relevant department supervisors and communicate with them promptly to resolve any discrepancies. 4) Manage outbound order processing by distributing picking tasks, preparing necessary documents, and producing labels for outgoing orders and completed pallets. 5) Communicate with truck drivers, carriers, and customers by phone, email, fax, or other written correspondence regarding inbound and outbound shipments, scheduling, inventory status, and cold storage information. 6) Maintain inventory accuracy by promptly entering data, reviewing documentation, and resolving discrepancies with warehouse operations. 7) Schedule inbound and outbound trucks and check drivers in at the shipping and receiving office, coordinating dock activity with warehouse operations. 8) Type, process, distribute, and file documents and correspondence; prepare and process Cold Storage outgoing mail daily. Research and resolve inventory and shipment issues by working closely with warehouse operations team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. 9) Manage sensitive information relating to customers, production, and shipments with care, both within the organization and when dealing with external parties. 10) Provide operational support and backup to warehouse as needed to ensure continuity of daily operations. 11) Perform other warehouse and customer service duties as assigned.
Position Requirements :
High school, including or in addition to basic data entry training, is required. Minimum 1-2 years of customer service, administrative, or inventory/logistics experience is required. Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. Previous customer service representative experience is preferred.   • $57,979, equivalent to $23.72
