Full-Time Schedule:
Flexible schedule, including some Saturdays during the busy season St Croix Dock & Marine is looking for a dependable, friendly, and motivated Customer Service & Sales Associate for our Cumberland location. This position is a good fit for someone who enjoys working with customers, learning about marine products, and helping people find the right solution for their boat, dock, lift, or lake property needs. This role can be part-time or full-time , depending on the applicant and our business needs. The position will involve a mix of customer service, retail sales, product support, order entry, answering phones, helping customers in person, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the store. Marine, boating, powersports, retail, or parts experience is helpful, but not required. We are willing to train the right person if they are reliable, organized, and willing to learn. Responsibilities Greet and assist customers in the store Answer phones and help customers with basic questions Help customers with marine parts, accessories, docks, lifts, and related products Look up products, check availability, and assist with orders Provide friendly and professional customer service Process sales transactions and customer orders Help keep the showroom, parts area, and sales floor organized Assist with receiving, stocking, pricing, and displaying merchandise Communicate with coworkers to help customers get accurate information Follow up with customers when needed Learn product lines and basic marine terminology over time Support seasonal store needs during busy boating months Qualifications Strong customer service skills Good communication skills in person and over the phone Comfortable using a computer and learning new software Dependable and able to show up on time Willing to learn about boats, docks, lifts, parts, and accessories Able to stay organized in a busy retail environment Positive attitude and professional appearance Retail, sales, parts, marine, powersports, or outdoor equipment experience is a plus Must be able to work independently and as part of a team Ability to lift and move products when needed Preferred Experience Experience in any of the following areas is helpful but not required: Retail sales Customer service Marine, boating, docks, or lifts Auto parts, powersports, small engines, or equipment sales Inventory or order entry Phone sales or counter sales What We Offer Part-time to full-time opportunity Seasonal marine retail environment Product training Variety in day-to-day work Opportunity to learn the marine, dock, lift, and boating business Friendly local business environment About St Croix Dock & Marine St Croix Dock & Marine serves customers with marine products, docks, lifts, accessories, parts, and service support.
