Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs, product inquiries, and checkout processes Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cash, credit, and digital payments Manage cash handling procedures with precision, including balancing registers at shift end Upsell products and promote store promotions or special offers to enhance customer satisfaction and sales Conduct product demos when applicable, highlighting features and benefits to customers Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring the store looks inviting Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Assist with inventory management tasks such as stock replenishment and inventory counts Support in training or supervising new team members as needed, fostering a collaborative environment Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively in both bilingual (English/Spanish or other languages) environments if applicable Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for handling transactions accurately Experience in grocery stores or retail environments is a plus Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service with a friendly attitude Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves or organizing displays Knowledge of merchandising, product demos, upselling techniques, and retail math is advantageous Join us to be part of a lively team committed to delivering exceptional shopping experiences!
