Job Description

TEKsystems is actively hiring for a customer service representative for a Wisconsin-based manufacturer! About the Role Wea are looking for Customer Service Representatives to join our growing team in Madison, WI. This role goes beyond traditional call‑center customer service. You will support customers and sales representatives by processing custom orders, expediting requests, quoting products, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating cross‑functionally with engineering, warehouse, and internal teams. New hires will begin as Order Processing Representatives , focusing on data entry and system navigation while learning our products, processes, and systems. As knowledge grows, the role expands into a more technical, customer‑facing support position. You'll work daily in Outlook, Excel, and SAP , applying strong attention to detail and analytical thinking to deliver exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities Provide sales and customer support to NORD customers and internal sales representatives Enter and process customer orders accurately, including custom and technical orders Expedite orders, generate quotes, and support restocking efforts Troubleshoot order, pricing, and product issues by partnering with Engineering, Warehouse, and other internal teams Communicate with customers via phone and email to answer questions and provide updates Maintain accurate documentation and customer records Support continuous improvement and customer satisfaction initiatives Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year of customer service or order entry experience (must be reflected on resume) Ability to think analytically and learn technical product knowledge Strong computer skills and willingness to learn new systems High School Diploma or equivalent Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waunakee, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.21 - $23.21/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
