Job Overview We're seeking a motivated and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our service department. The ideal candidate will have experience in automotive service writing, excellent communication skills, and a strong drive to deliver outstanding customer experiences. This role involves coordinating service appointments, providing expert vehicle recommendations, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. Candidates with dealership experience, automotive diagnostics knowledge, and a strong background in auto service management will thrive in this position. Duties Greet customers promptly and professionally, establishing rapport and understanding their vehicle concerns Write detailed service estimates and communicate repair needs effectively to customers Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs and services Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, alignments, suspension work, and transmission services Manage service write-ups, parts ordering, and documentation accurately Assist customers with vehicle maintenance advice and explain repair procedures clearly Handle cash transactions and process payments efficiently Maintain detailed records of service history and customer interactions Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and promote repeat business Requirements Previous dealership experience or auto service management background preferred (Ford or OEM experience is a plus). Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems, and repairs including transmissions, oil changes, auto body repair, air brakes, shocks & struts, brake repair, diesel engine repair, suspension, tire service, and alignment Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly Experience in auto estimating, service writing, and automobile sales is highly desirable Mechanical knowledge combined with mechanic or service technician experience is a plus Ability to handle upselling opportunities professionally while maintaining customer trust Cash handling experience is preferred Automotive repair knowledge including auto body work and specialized systems such as air brakes or diesel engines will be advantageous Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and communication Valid driver's license required; ability to pass background checks as necessary This position offers an engaging work environment where your expertise in automotive services can directly impact customer satisfaction. Pay:

$40,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
