Job Description

Category Nursing - RN - CVOR Job Type Contract Deliver advanced, patient-focused care as an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse in a dynamic, supportive setting. This contract opportunity calls for skilled professionals prepared to provide top-tier cardiovascular operating room nursing services while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Schedule/Hours:
Contract position (duration to be discussed during the hiring process) Potential requirement to float to other departments as needed (within scope of competency) Possible on-call duties during scheduled shifts
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active RN license with current, unrestricted status Demonstrated expertise in CVOR nursing, including circulating and scrubbing responsibilities Strong knowledge of perioperative standards and protocols Proven ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care Commitment to accuracy in documentation and regulatory compliance Effective communication and collaboration skills within a surgical environment Flexibility to adapt to patient and department needs
Key Responsibilities:
Independently perform nursing functions and execute delegated medical functions within state Board of Nursing standards Continually assess and monitor patient health status in the CVOR setting Participate in the ongoing collection and evaluation of health data Deliver targeted patient education and post-operative counseling Provide supportive and restorative therapies to promote optimal patient outcomes Refer patients for additional evaluation or treatment as clinical needs dictate Administer and review therapy and treatment plans in collaboration with physician partners Document care and interventions accurately, adhering to hospital and regulatory requirements Exhibit a commitment to professional ethics, patient rights, and organizational values This is an excellent chance to expand your CVOR experience in a collaborative and patient-centered environment.
