CYFS Outpatient Clinician Lyndonvile, VT 05851 Apply Overview Salary Range $52,603.00 - $71,169.00 Salary/year Apply Description Children's Outpatient Clinician Full-Time | Derby & St. Johnsbury, VT Looking for more than just a job? The NKHS Children's Department is seeking a passionate, energetic therapist who believes healing can happen both inside the office and out in the community. This role supports youth and families as they work through personal challenges, build coping skills, and improve their overall mental and emotional well-being. The Children's Outpatient Clinician provides assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, individual and family therapy, crisis support, psychoeducation, documentation, and collaboration with schools, families, providers, and community partners.
Responsibilities include:
Provide evidence-based therapy to children, youth, and families Complete assessments, treatment plans, documentation, and progress notes Support youth and families during crisis situations, including safety planning Collaborate with schools, caregivers, medical providers, and community supports Help youth build coping strategies, emotional regulation skills, and long-term wellness
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related human services field required Vermont licensure preferred Experience working with youth ages 5-21 and their caregivers required Experience with emotional and behavioral challenges and trauma-informed care preferred Experience providing outdoor or experiential therapy interventions preferred
Pay & Benefits:
