Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing facility as a Dairy Maintenance Technician, where your expertise will keep our dairy production lines running smoothly and efficiently. This energetic role offers the opportunity to work with advanced industrial systems, troubleshoot complex machinery, and contribute to the production of high-quality dairy products. Your technical skills and proactive approach will be vital in maintaining optimal equipment performance, ensuring safety standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Duties Perform routine and preventive maintenance on dairy processing equipment, including conveyors, pasteurizers, homogenizers, and packaging machinery. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues using schematics, precision measuring instruments, ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools. Repair and replace components such as motors, pumps, valves, sensors, and wiring in accordance with safety protocols and technical specifications. Conduct inspections of equipment for signs of wear or malfunction; perform welding (including <
LOCATION
> welding), HVAC/R repairs Follow safety procedures diligently while working with high voltage systems or in confined spaces; utilize appropriate personal protective equipment. Support continuous improvement by analyzing failure trends and recommending upgrades or modifications to enhance reliability. Operate scissor lifts or other aerial platforms safely for elevated maintenance tasks. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and communicate effectively with team members to ensure operational excellence. Experience Proven industrial mechanic experience within a manufacturing facility environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance practices.
