Job Description
Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to support accurate record management and administrative data processing in Weehawken, New Jersey. This is a Contract position suited for someone who is comfortable working with digital systems, handling sensitive information responsibly, and keeping records current. The ideal candidate will contribute to day-to-day data operations by ensuring information is entered correctly, reviewed thoroughly, and organized for easy access.
Responsibilities:
- Input information into company databases and electronic records with a high level of accuracy.
- Examine submitted data to confirm it is complete, consistent, and properly formatted.
- Make timely updates to existing files so records remain current and reliable.
- Investigate mismatched or incomplete entries and apply corrections as needed.
- Organize, store, and manage digital documents for efficient retrieval and recordkeeping.
- Prepare routine data summaries or reports to support business needs.
- Work with internal departments to obtain missing details and clarify unclear information.
- Handle confidential data with discretion and follow established privacy standards. Requirements
- Strong data entry skills with the ability to process information accurately and efficiently.
- Comfort working with numeric data and maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic computer proficiency, including experience entering and updating information in digital systems.
- Effective typing skills and the ability to complete repetitive tasks with consistency.
- Strong organizational skills for managing records and electronic documents.
- Good written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with internal teams.
- Ability to identify discrepancies and resolve errors in a timely manner.
